Dr. MLK Jr. Unity March
Let’s create unity in the community! The NAACP Camden County Branch is hosting the Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity March on Monday, January 16, 2023. The march will begin at 10am at Kingsland Lions Park on South Grove Boulevard and proceed to Kingsland Train Station (440 S. Lee Street) for refreshments and a program in the theater.
Mistress of Ceremonies is Kizzi Knight, Mayor of Woodbine. Keynote speaker is Welton Coffey, II, Camden County High School Athletic Director.
Everyone in the community is welcome to participate including individuals, families, organizations, and churches. The purpose is to bring the community together in honor of Dr. King’s legacy of civil justice, racial equity, peace, and unity. Let’s create Dr. King’s beloved community here in Camden.
